Happy Easter card

Hello everyone. I have been asked to join the Polka Dot Orchard design team. I am so excited to bring you projects using the wonderful digital stamps you can find there.

I used a couple of different sets for today's card.
Start by printing the large egg background from Woodland Cuties Easter Moose on Canson Bristol Smooth 100lb paper. This was printed out in about 5"x7" size. Watercolor with Zig Clean Color markers and trim to an A2 size card panel. Print the Happy Easter sentiment from the same set. Once it is trimmed down, doodle a border around it if you would like.

Cut a frame with any die you have. This one is Scallop Stitched Rectangle frame from Gina Marie Designs. Layer this with acetate and foam tape. Assemble the frame and egg background by pulling the backing off the bottom and two sides of the foam tape, leaving the backing on the top. Fill with sequins and then use a piercing tool or tweezers to loosen the backing off the top layer of foam and pull it out. I find this is much easier to line up all the layers and fill with the shaker material.

Print the bunny from Spring has Sprung and color with Copics. Fussy cut him out and layer him and the sentiment on top of the acetate and frame layer of the shaker.

Happy Easter napkin card

The Unity Stamp Company has a month long challenge going using a decorative paper napkin as the base for a card. This is my entry. I used a simple, striped napkin to start with.

I started by separating the plies of my napkin and wrinkling the decorative layer just a bit. I mod podged my napkin on to some 110 lb card stock. Once it was dry, I cut it down with a stitched rectangle die.

The umbrella stamp is from the April Kit of the Month and Happy Easter is from the March kit of the month. I used the following Copics to do some very basic coloring on the umbrella.

I fussy cut the umbrella out and then mounted it on a lacy nested circle die from Gina Marie Designs. The entire thing was mounted to navy card stock and then added to a card base. I used some clear sequins for the embellishments.
