I did another quick card with a digital image from the Petals for the Pittmans fund raiser.
This image is so amazing. I had so much fun coloring it. Once I got it colored, I cut it out and started playing with layout ideas. I saw another card using the other image that was done like this and the sentiment was on the side. I have this amazing stamp set from Unity, with long sentiments full of encouragement. I thought one of them was perfect along the side.
It needed some embellishment on the right so I went into Microsoft Word and put this same image into text boxes that I resized to show the butterfly. I layered a few of those adjusting the size a bit and printed them out. This way I didn't waste paper. Once they were colored, I fussy cut them and arranged them on the side of the sentiment. I used a .02 pen to draw the dash lines for movement.
